Hello, 

After you establish your connection. "ifconfig ppp0" will show you the
actual address which has been assigned to this "ppp0" interface.

The "netstat -rn" command is used in viewing routes. An excellent place
to begin your quest of "ip aliasing" or adding additional routes would 
be:
