Hi, I have downloaded the port for gd-1.8.3 and was unable to install using the ports collection. I get it ok by setting the variable DISTNAME in the Makefile as "gd-1.8.3". Without it the port was searching fot a file called '.tar.gz'. Hope being helpfull, cheers, Carlos E. G.
