Interesting suggestion... I've run qpopper before. Trouble is, the
whole object of this excercise is to AVOID the need for local
accounts, and qpopper still needs getpwnam() to work, which is why I
switched from qpopper in the first darn place ;-)

Thanks for the suggestion regarding pam-mysql, though... it's exactly
what I'm looking for for an auth interface. I've set it up and
tested it. Now I just need to find a pop3 daemon that:
	a) Performs well under pressure
	b) Does not require system users (I thought this was
implied in my original post... then again... ;-)

I suppose good 'ol Cyrus has a PAM interface. Anyone got a better idea
for a fast/robust POP3 server that DOESN'T need real users?

Thanks!

- Ryan
