Hello Plasma,
thank your for the help. I will try it out today.

What I do not understand is, why I am able to hibernate under DOS. What is the 
name of your hibernation file? I've got a SAVE2DSK.BIN on my drive C:. You to? 
Which version of FreeBSD are running?
