It seems that it cannot make some new fonts needed by "xdvi". (by the way, directory: "/usr/local/share/texmf/fonts/pk/ljfour/public/cm" must be created and its permission must be changed to "1777") >How-To-Repeat: Install teTeX. Create a latex document. Process the document with "latex" command. Try to display it with "xdvi". >Fix: I do not know, what I did was copy "MakeTeXPK" from another machine with FreeBSD 2.2.6. It worked fine. If you look at the creation date and length of "MakeTeXPK", it was created one day after the other ones.
