The error you've quoted is nothing more than a warning. It almost certainly has always been in your Xorg.%d.log. It is normally one of the last messages printed out, but its completely irrelevant to your problem. Can you post your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (presuming your display is :0) to the list. --=-AEZjndAmdCCwIZ7krkOc Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBGQyyRlcRvFfyds/cRAutdAKCLFDIeNw+YT3cPfwTFpHk8ZJK2PgCfWNJ5 5RnfFdOZtIRrB6a+CYKcJJA= =MuWg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-AEZjndAmdCCwIZ7krkOc--
