Can you run diagnostics on > the disk with the software that the manufacturer of the disk supplies? Nope.. Take them out of the RAID array, use them in JBOD and they seem to be running pretty well. They certainly format well. I am doing my massive gigabit linked rdist again.. so we shall see if anything happens.
