I am trying to install FreeBSD. It attempts to install from the CD ROM,
and does quite well, until it gets at 100%, and tells me that bin and
other files can't be loaded: -1 of 1024 sectors (?) loaded...

Don't know what to do...I have installed and reinstalled. Put in a new
CD ROM (although its reading the other one also) and a new 2 GB HDD,
specifically for FreeBSD. I'm at a loss now.

I have tried to install utilizing the DOS utility...but, doesn't
recognize my CD ROM. The install floppy does recognize the CD. I have
copied the BIN directory to a DOS partition, and still won't install
from there...same message as above. Is there an existing kernel that I
could load? and build from it, one piece at a time?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Guy Wood
