As you are using modssl, you've created a certificate. The private key
is encrypted with password and every time Apache is started, it
has to decrypt it, so you have to remove password like this:
openssl rsa -in private.pem -out private2.pem
then mv private2.pem private.pem
chmod 600 private.pem
make
and you are done ;)
