Download FreeBSD-9.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso 2. Boot the iso (I used qemu-kvm) without any disks attached. 3. Give default/dummy answers until disk partitioning. 4. Select guided partitioning. bsdinstall says an installation step has been aborted.
