Those patches will work with 4.6.x.  I've been struggling over the
past year to make it work in 5-current.  RAIDframe was not built
with SMPng in mind, and as such it does evil things like hold
locks for too long and abuse the kernel stack.  I'm slowly working
my way through it, but occasionally real life intrudes.
