	Okay. I'll disable verbosity mode. :)
	I understand that the size of commit log messages should
be tempered by good judgement. And that this one could be smaller
but sometimes these are necessary so that context can be understood.

	What about some guidelines for commit verbosity? Specially
for newcommers.

	1) Golden Rule: if it's a simple change, it is a small
	   message;
	2) do not write in 20 lines what you can in less than
	   10. Most commits do not need that much;
	3) once again, do not write in 20+ lines what you can in
	   less than 20. Usually, 20 is more than you need;
	4) if you are not sure, it is probably not that important;
	5) do not use as much verbosity as you would on your local
	   CVS. "Project resources are by no means unlimited and
	   committers have to justify usage of those resources
	   wisely."[1]
	6) if you are sure, please refer to (1-5) to be certain;
	7) if you still judge you need it, disconsider all previous
	   guidelines. After all, these are all sugestions, not
	   written in stone laws.

	Perhaps something like this could go in the committers'
handbook.

	Regards,
