It's FreeBSD-based, and appears to be an unprivilidged shared
virtual domain hosting account on Apache+PHP.

No, I've never used them.  I would personally prefer a jail
based hosting solution, but the IP address and compute
resources need for that would probably have a higher per month
price than what they appear to be charging.

They appear to have a per month transfer limit, managed by web
logs, so you would need to make sure you did not get slashdotted
or otherwise end up running a high traffic site without a lot of
legitimate traffic.
