from root I type startx >& startx.log and this is the error that I get: _x11transsocketUNIXConnect: can't connect: errno=2 _x11transsocketUNIXConnect: can't connect: errno=2 _x11transsocketUNIXConnect: can't connect: errno=2 _x11transsocketUNIXConnect: can't connect: errno=2 giving up. xinit: Interrupted system call (errno4): unable to connect to XSERVER xinit: No such process (errno3) Server error. -----------END OF ERROR----- I realize it is a problem with the server. I reinstalled 3 times thinking that something didn't install properly. I've tried alot of different things but have run out of options.
