Hi everyone, sorry for my previous mail, it was sent prematurely (no kidding: I hit the "send" button by mistake). Inside /usr/ports/x11-fonts/XFree86-4-fontEncodings/ , I typed make fetch checksum depends extract patch which all went fine. typing "make configure" had this effect: ===> Configuring for XFree86-fontEncodings-4.0.1 (cd /usr/ports/x11-fonts/XFree86-4-fontEncodings/work/xc/fonts/encodings && imake -DUseInstalled -DProjectRoot=/usr/X11R6 -I/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config -DTOPDIR=../../.. -DCURDIR=.; make Makefiles ; make includes ; make depend) "Makefile", line 664: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 666: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 667: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 668: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 669: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 671: Missing dependency operator make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-fonts/XFree86-4-fontEncodings. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-fonts/XFree86-4-fontEncodings. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/x11-fonts/XFree86-4-fontEncodings. This is nasty, as any make install for a font will (least I think so) produce this. Any idea what I can do about this? I just cvsupped my ports, but it did not help.
