Bringing up a RouterBoard RB800, I'm trying to use the bootpd server
that comes in base to netboot the board from another system. The
kernel boots fine, but when it tries to mount the root, it attempts
another DHCP/BOOTP request, and continuously times out. Has anyone
else been able to get a machine to boot from BOOTP (not DHCP) using
the base utilities?

The configuration is as follows:

/etc/bootptab:
jumpgate:hn:ha=000c42aedcc6:bf=kernel.rb800:ip=10.0.0.2:rp="10.0.0.5:/zhabar/jails/rb800":vm=rfc1048:sa=10.0.0.5:

Relevant logs:
RouterBoard:

...

Every request looks like that.

I also ran tcpdump to check, and that looks fine.

I'm using the stock MPC85XX kernel config with unrelated changes
(additional devices, debugging, for other purposes).

Thanks,
Justin
