its the same like with tcl, ghostscript and other ports.
apsfilter was the name I started with. Then I had to add a port
for apsfilter version 6. Both ports had to live in parallel for
a longer period.

Because the port didn't have a PORTREVISION set previously and
I decided to start the next revision with "1".

I read it a few weeks ago when I first came in touch with
this new variable.

After a few weeks I was happy to remember, that this has to be
bumped, if a major change occurs to the port. I did so and
whats wrong now ?
