I'm back to current with my DVD plugged in, but something still seems a bit off. After the drive (acd0) probes, I tend to hang for an extended time (30-40 seconds) with the disk activity LED on (though not locked on...it flickers off every few seconds). This only started when updated from Apr. 30 to today. When I use the Gnome CD player, pressing "Play" eats 100% of the CPU and I can't get it to stop unless I exit the player. Other player (grip and goobox) don't have any problem. I do have ATAPICAM and it might be related to that. -- R. Kevin Oberman, Network Engineer Energy Sciences Network (ESnet) Ernest O.
