If the 4.5 version is like 4.6, it is a FreeBSD a.out executable (the
fact you get 'ld.so failed' rather than 'ld-elf.so' further reinofrces
that assumption). Do you have,

	/usr/X11R6/lib/aout/libXtst.so.6.1

And is it in the output of 'ldconfig -aout -r'?
