It was asked if it might be the ATA_ENABLE_WC commit causeing the
slowdown.  That was committed on 2/25 and cvs update -rRELENG_4 -D "16
days ago" is 2/27 or 2/28 so that is not it.  And write chaching should
have little affect on reading, which is what is being done.

Also the ata commits on 2/25 were the last commits in src/sys/dev/ata.
