It's architecture dependent until it's ported to alpha. I've been using
this as a "comment out" method so that I don't have to keep too many
local mods to the source tree. I'm currently running at 150 which is
too many.

perl is not high on my list of things to port. I'm more interesting
in finding out why vi barfs on ioctls. Gotta have my vi. 8-)
