Yes.  6.0z wins over 6.0aa because the "b" part and the "aa" part are
compared as words, in lexical order.

A .[a-z] prefix indicates it's a pre-release (alpha, beta, pre, etc.),
while [a-z] prefixes mean patchlevels.

	1.0.a < 1.0.a2 < 1.0.b < 1.0 < 1.0a

In fact, pkg_version started to conform to the rules written in the
Handbook only lately.  Were pkg_version away, ports would play. ;)

Unfortunately, pkg_version has just been found to be wrong in some
cases, but will be fixed soon..
