Hmmm.  Of the four "estimate the bandwidth along a path" programs I'm
aware of in the Ports Collection, two are in net (net/pathchar,
net/pchar) and two are in benchmarks (benchmarks/pathload,
benchmarks/pathrate).  This seems suboptimal somehow.  :-p
