I'm running a Compaq Prolinea 5/90 as an X workstation under FreeBSD 2.10
(pending the 2.2 release). I upgraded from 16 to 32Mb but although the bios
reports the added memory on boot, FreeBSD can't see it. I tried swapping
simms and simm types to no avail. However much memory I add, and in whatever
configuration, FreeBSD can't see more than 16Mb.

Anything else I can try, or is it just a wierdness of the Compaq motherboard.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Regards
