    I was pretty sure that I had disabled it everywhere, but I might have
missed something.  I am now reasonably sure that -DVINUMDEBUG is defined
everywhere (I checked the two vinum-related Makefiles to ensure that this
was defined, but made no modifications to them; I also changed my kernel
configuration to include this option and rebuilt and reinstalled it), but
again I might have missed something.

 poorly is not a good reason to apply those same solutions to Usenet.
