- From what I can tell based on the information you've provided a drive
failed in such a way that the controller tried stepping the bus down.
When that didn't help it faulted the drive out of the array.  But you
don't say, and it doesn't seem discernable from the information you
provided, what happened after that.

Did the server hang or reboot or something?
