We have all of our production machines at either 2.1.7 or 2.1-stable.
I haven't seen enough improved functionality in the 2.2 stream to get me
to change.  I do sometimes covet the larger port/package list, however.

But you're right.  Unless what you're doing is UNIX hacking, it takes a
compelling reason to change a working box.
