The current sort order is

   0.5 = 0.05 = 0.005 < 0.39 = 0.039 < 0.50 = 0.050 < 0.390 < 0.500

What do you expect?

   0.005 < 0.039 < 0.05 = 0.050 < 0.39 = 0.390 < 0.5 = 0.50 = 0.500

would imply that

   FreeBSD 4.1 = FreeBSD 4.10

or do you have a suggestion of a different sort order that would mandate 
0.039 < 0.5?
