This is the thing.  eps2png doesn't depend on any shared libraries -- it
depends on the ghostscript binary, which it execs to do the conversion.
eps2png is basically a small wrapper that takes care of setting the
correct command line arguments to ghostscript, that's all -- it doesn't
do any PNG processing itself.

There are other ports that list an application in RUN_DEPENDS, without 
duplicating all that application's library dependencies in LIB_DEPENDS.
graphics/aview, for example, which depends on the 'convert' binary from
ImageMagick and the 'anytopnm' binary from netpbm, or gphoto, or
epstool.
