Hello,

I got multiple hints from FreeBSD 5 users that the linux kernel bug, =
which
was recently discussed in linux developer groups, also affects FreeBSD =
5, in
particular 5.2.1-RELEASE-p8 and 5.2-CURRENT. After compiling and =
executing
the exploit (*) as user, the system reboots without any warning and
comments.

Would be nice, if someone can fix this.

btw. I wonder about this issue, but I don't have any evil thoughts. ;-)
