I've been unable to recreate the binary package consuming 100% locally.
I suspect that there is something on or missing on bento that
precipitates the problem. I've even built a "pristine" system locally,
e.g. no ports except for screen and the ports required to build it, and
I still have not been able to recreate the problem locally. Next step
is to ktrace it. If that fails, have the port build with debugging
symbols to see where it's looping.

You can get binary packages from http://komquats.com/pkg/screen-3.9.15.t
gz. If you have any problems with the port or package, built on bento
or my site, please give me a shout. I'm especially interested in
hearing from anyone having problems with the package on my site.

Keep on codin'!

Cheers,
