Thank-you for your responses to my questions; I have learned
a lot about the difficulty in handling this problem.

One more question: I have discovered a bunch of FreeBSD majordomo
discussion groups on the FreeBSD web site. Can you recommend to
me a discussion group that I could join where I could pursue
this topic? I feel that difficult problems that promise great
rewards deserve to be studied. Remember that I am relatively
new to FreeBSD and especially to kernel hacking, however,
I have 30+ years programming experience, and I hate
malicious hackers.
