With all the problems supposedly fixed in 4.3 (especially the
ATI drivers (*)), it might be worth it to delay 4.8 a few days just
to include this port.

(*) I can confirm that 4.3 works with my ATI Radeon 7500 whereas
    it doesn't with 4.2.1.
