Try the different mirror, in ftp.freebsd.org there has gdm, gnome2 and  
etc. As for the gnome2-fifth-toe, I couldn't find any so maybe there is  
something wrong in one of dependency or so that caused gnome2-fifth-toe  
couldn't create a package.
