Try adding

options BROKEN_KEYBOARD_RESET 

to your kernel config.  (I believe this is a harmless error, though, after
lots of discussion in -current.)

Oof.  Did you recompile a kernel with PS/2 mouse support installed, and
then use MAKEDEV to make the device?

Sounds like an interrupt conflict.
