mountd will complain and exit if /var/db/mountdtab isn't present when it is invoked. Should the bindist include a 0-byte mountdtab file to prevent this problem? I also made a couple of minor changes to /etc/sysconfig (basically setting $ipaddr right after $hostname and using $ipaddr in the ifconfig and multicast route lines).
