The cable type can be set in apcupsd.conf, which have to be setup =

before running apcupsd.

For the other components, it seems not to be a problem to compile and =

install 5 small progs proactively instead of fiddeling with switches or =

setting of env variables before building the port.

Do you have any special requirement to think about this?
