That's the skinny.  Compaq also has a problem with broken PCI busses, so
be on the lookout.

Huh?  Your SCSI isn't supported, period.

Can't say.

The Adaptec 2940 or the NCR 53c815/53c825 cards are very good
controllers with excellent support.
