I have been trying to build QT-2.2.3 for the last several weeks, and
consistently get the following error:

Someone else reported this a while back and was told simply that he
obviously had some sort of problem with his threads setup. I hav etried
everything I can think of to figure out what the problem is, and have
failed.
This error occurs both on freshly installed and cvsup'ed systems as well as
systems which have been up for more than a year.
I have deleted and reinstalled X11, both R3 and R4. I have deleted the
source tree and rebuilt from scratch. I have deleted ports and rebuilt from
scratch. Can anyone give me a constructive hint as to what else I might try?

Thanks

Dave
