In localhost.freebsd.questions you write: >Hello, > I have just setup Xwindows with the afterstep manager on FreeBSD and >was wondering if there was a way to get it to run in 32-bit color mode, >and if so, how do you make the changes to Xwindows ? Also, how do you >setup FreeBSD to log users telneting in and ftping into the box. If your XFree setup is set with the 32 bit modes available, you can just do a startx -- -bpp 32 and it should do it. If not, you'll need to delve into the XF86Config file, which I can't remember how to configure. Sorry, can't help you with your other problem. -- bryan k ogawa <bkogawa@primenet.com> http://www.primenet.com/~bkogawa/
