https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D207501 Bug ID: 207501 Summary: devel/llvm-devel: port seems to be statically built, hence it is rather huge Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: brooks@FreeBSD.org Reporter: philippe.michel7@sfr.fr Assignee: brooks@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(brooks@FreeBSD.org) The recent llvm-devel using a 3.9 snapshot seems to be build statically and= is about 4 times larger that it used to. This was not the case with the 3.8 snapshots and with the various llvm3x/clang3x ports. Would it be possible to have it built using dynamic libraries again ? And if not maybe having a warning that it needs about 900 MB to install and 3 GB o= r so to compile. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
