Of course, we would do the equivalent move in USE_AUTOCONF_VER... ::) I don't really know if this is really nessesary. For me it works this way, although the last committer of my patches told me not to use USE_AUTOMAKE if only using ACLOCAL. But I think a superfluous call to AUTOMAKE can be tolerated for some Makefile-polish.
