Thus spake Joe Marcus Clarke (marcus@freebsd.org) [12/02/04 03:32]:
: Why don't you like gtk+-2?

Having used Phoenix/Firebird both with 2 and 1.2, I can say for certain that
under my setup, 2.x caused great instability. The browser would randomly
crash when rendering, swapping virtual desktops would break keyboard input
until I moved the window, and the whole browser itself just slowed down to a
crawl when using 2.x as compared to 1.2.

This is all under Windowmaker on a -CURRENT system.
