/usr/src/sys/dev/acpi_support/acpi_asus.c

You can use 'acpidump -dt > acpidump.aml' to get a dump of the laptop's
acpi in the file acpidump.aml...This may allow you to determine what
changed, either in the acpi_asus or in your laptop's ACPI
