I downloaded the 4.8-mini iso, verified the checksum.md5, burned a CD.
I booted the CD, did visual userconfig, then on device probe the install
hung just before it should have detected my CD. I have a Norcent RW521.
Booting from floppies yielded the same result.

My existing install of 4.2 has no problem probing the CD drive. Any
advice on what might be wrong or how to proceed? Thanks.
