Below is the linux_ioctl.c part of the patch of www.mpegtv.com
I really don't see anything related to SETDIR or audiocard support.
This looks to me like piece of code related to extracting audio from
CDROMs. 

I checked the  /sys/i386/linux/linux_ioctl.c in 3.2-stable and there I
find:

#define SETDIR(c)       (((c) & ~IOC_DIRMASK) | dirbits[args->cmd >> 30])

Am I missing something here??
