Eh? When was this oid made available?

I run FreeBSD 4.2 with newpcm audio supporting I810 (I hacked it into the
kernel myself from Katsurajima Naoto's source, posted to GNATS ~3/11):

  [sheol] ~$ cat /dev/sndstat
  FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Aug 17 2001 06:43:13
  Installed devices:
  pcm0: <Intel 82801AA AC'97 audio> at io 0x1200-0x12ff, 0x1300-0x133f \
  irq 11 (1p/1r channels duplex)

Did I miss something, or has newpcm evolved since then?
