Not to continue this thread, but I've had a K6-2/300 in my main BSD machine
for several months w/o any trouble.

The machine is on 24/7.  I have compiled several kernels and done 3 "make
worlds" since I have had this processor, (not to mention all the ports I
have installed).  I have not had a single problem with this processor.

And incase you were wondering, I have a FIC VA-503+ motherboard.
