The man page for the wu-ftpd is in /usr/local/man while the standard ftpd
man page is is /usr/share/man. Since /usr/share/man appears in your
manpath first, this is the manpage that is loaded.

if you use man -M /usr/local/man ftpd you will get the one you want.
