One way to get X is to install the package using pkg_add. X comes with a very simple window manager, twm. You can use that to install a more functional window manager such as KDE, gnome, ... There is a desktop project that packages all this together: http://www.desktopbsd.org/ I prefer to install the pieces separately. Unless you hit a hardware snag this can easily be done in an hour using packages (and a broadband connection :) ) > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" >
